Any contribution is welcome to stop further development of the project, detrimental to our environment.
With objections from over 2000 people, the planning committee decided to defer on 2023-03-30 allowing consideration of other sites.
After 7 months, after much work, the council concluded the Ings Road site is the most suitable site, ignoring thousands of objections, proposing to carry on, details on Council’s website:

To help with objections, please submit comments to Public Access planning portal, quoting 22/03331/CM and add your words.

HRC: Advice for some exhibition questions after input received –
Ask to see the revised plan
Ask what has changed
Ask why nothing has changed
Ask what activity has taken place in order to get to a plan that remains unchanged
Ask if the criteria for scoring has changed, how it’s changed and why it’s changed
Please note any responses that may give us an opportunity to discredit their process. Try and note the names of the attendees from the Council please. These may be different at different times so we are interested in all the participants and where they fit into the Council structure.
Please can everyone have another push with family, friends and neighbours to put their objections on to the planning portal if they have not already! Speak about it with everyone you meet!
It’s really important for us to get the numbers up once again. Especially after the “revised plans” that are not amended in any way we : Please bear in mind many of the contact details in those documents are now wrong as a result of the last elections. Comments will be best made after visiting the Treasure House to see the new proposals as there must be some differences in the plans. As yet there has been no resubmission of the planning application.

Dear Councillors,
Our beloved countryside can be saved from destruction by building Household Recycling Centre (HRC) in the North of Molescroft.
The plan details given below…
Land North West Of Ings Road Picnic Site Ings Road Molescroft East Riding Of Yorkshire HU17 7LURef. No: 22/03331/CM
Surely the plant would cause environmental issues, such as smell, light and noise to nearby residents, wildlife in the nature reserve near Tickton.
Please help avoiding this disastrous plan going ahead.
Thank you.
Yours sincerely,
Alan Wong
